Our #1 goal is to ensure your stay is comfortable and peaceful. To achieve this we ask all guests to read, acknowledge, and agree to these house rules within 48 HOURS of booking your stay.
This policy ensures you have an opportunity to cancel your booking without penalty if you feel you cannot adhere to these rules. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

✅ Age Requirement

25+ Guests must be 25 years of age or older to book this property.

🐾 No Pets Allowed

This property is pet-free. This maintains comfort for all guests, protects local wildlife, and keeps your pet safe from predatory animals. An unauthorized pet fee of $50/day will apply to all pets and is separate from any excessive cleaning that may be charged hourly. If excessive cleaning due to an unauthorized pet causes the cancellation of an upcoming reservation(s), the guest will be responsible for all refunded fees related to the canceled reservation(s).

🚭 No Smoking Anywhere on the Property

Smoking is strictly prohibited both indoors and outdoors.
Violations will result in additional cleaning fees.
Please reference the High Wildfire Risk statement below.

🧍‍♀️ Maximum Occupancy – 6 Guests

Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to 6 guests. Only registered guests are permitted.

👟 Remove Shoes

Shoes must be removed at the front door to maintain cleanliness inside.

⏰ Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: 3 PM or after
• Check-out: By 11 AM

If a later checkout is needed, please contact us — we’ll accommodate if possible.
A checkout later than 11:00 AM without prior permission will be charged at a rate of $100 per hour. Our cleaners keep a tight schedule and need time to prepare the house for the next guests. If a delayed departure causes a cancellation for an upcoming reservation the departing guest will be responsible for all refunded amounts to a displaced reservation, in addition to the late checkout charges.

🗑️ Garbage

Please leave any garbage you’re not taking with you inside the provided bin in the cabin.
Do not leave garbage outside — this attracts wildlife and may result in additional cleaning fees.

🅿️ Parking

Guest parking is available at the cabin. We ask that your party has no more than two vehicles. Always leave 15 feet of free space from the front door to the NE side of the cabin.

🛋️ Furniture

Do not rearrange any furniture or fixtures. Thank you!

🧺 Linens & Stains

We provide ample towels in both light and dark colors for your convenience.
Whether protecting sheets, removing makeup, or other body cosmetics, guests are responsible for being respectful of linens and property.

🔇 Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10 PM to 8 AM.
Loud music outdoors is prohibited at all times.
Disturbances may lead to immediate eviction without refund or credit.

🧰 Report Damage or Malfunctions

Immediately report any damage or malfunctions to the host so we can resolve the issue promptly.

🚽 Bathrooms

Do not flush any wipes, hygiene products, Q-tips, floss etc, down the toilets.

🍳 Kitchen

• Wash your dishes after use / before departure.
  Leaving dishes unwashed will incur additional cleaning fees.
• Never leave the stove, oven, or barbecue on while unattended.
• Do not pour grease, oil, food, or other substances down the drains — only soap and water, please.

♨️ Heaters

Never place items on or near the pellet stoves (cabin and dome).

🎉 No Events or Parties

Events, parties, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited.
The cabin is intended as a peaceful retreat — please respect our neighbors by keeping noise low.

🚫 Illegal Activities or Substances

Illegal drugs, substances, and all other illegal activities are strictly forbidden.
Violations will result in immediate eviction without refund and will be reported to authorities.

 🦌 Wildlife Interaction

Moose are our #1 visitor to Aurora - Moose are also considered Alaska’s most dangerous animal! To ensure safety for guests and the cabin, wildlife must remain wild — no petting, feeding, or harassing. There is NO HUNTING or TRAPPING ALLOWED. 

⚠️ Aurora Dome Deck — Safety & Cable Railing Guidelines

Our deck features a modern cable railing system by Muzata, designed to provide safety while preserving wide, open views. Cable railings rely on tightly tensioned stainless steel cables and posts and are engineered to meet deck safety standards when used as intended (standing behind the rail). To ensure everyone’s safety and preserve the integrity of the railing:

• Please do not climb, sit on, hang, or swing from the cable railing.
The cables are not designed to support body weight or dynamic loads.

• Children should never be left unattended on the deck.
Cable spacing and tension are designed for fall protection — not play equipment.

• Keep all personal items clear of the railing system so cables remain properly tensioned and unobstructed.

If any issues are noticed with the deck or railing, please contact us immediately so we can assess and ensure ongoing safety.

🕯️ Open Flames / Candles

Never leave an open flame or candles unattended. All flames must be contained in fireproof holders.

🔥 High Wildfire Risk - No Fires or Fireworks

Absolutely No Fires. The cabin is in a high-risk wildfire area. All fireworks, including sparklers, are forbidden at all times.

Damage & Excessive Cleaning Policy

If the property is left in a condition that requires excessive cleaning, or if the property or contents are damaged, the guest will be responsible for:

• Additional cleaning fees
• All replacement and/or repair cost of damaged or missing items
• All fees refunded to any canceled reservation(s) resulting from delays or unavailability caused by damage
